motion. We specialise in providing threads for the most
demanding tasks in all conceivable variations.

Ball screw technology

Ball screws convert rotary motion to linear motion. Balls are the anti-friction element between the ball screw spindle and nut drives. Ball screw dynamics and positioning accuracy primarily depend on the accuracy of production and the technical implementation of the stipulated tolerances.

The advantages of ball screws as compared to slide screws:

  • Low heat generation
  • No stick-slip effect
  • Extremely high positioning accuracy
